It feels so fitting that my very first review here is The Power of Moments by Chip Heath and Dan Heath, also the opening book assignment in my MBA program and the one that helped set the tone for this new chapter of growth, awareness, and purpose. This book explores how certain moments, big or small, can transform our perspective, elevate experiences, and deepen our connections.
The Heath brothers break down what makes moments “sticky”: how they’re formed, why we remember them, and how we can design them with intention. They show that powerful moments aren’t always accidental; many can be crafted with clarity, courage, and empathy.
As I read, I found myself reflecting not only on leadership and business but also on my own life, my family, my career, and the defining experiences that shaped me. The writing strikes that perfect balance between research and real-world storytelling, making the lessons both accessible and deeply resonant. It’s the kind of book that has you pausing mid-page, underlining sentences, and whispering, “Ooh… that’s good.”
For me, The Power of Moments became more than just coursework; it was a reminder to be present, to create meaningful experiences, and to seize every opportunity to make memories that matter. It set the energy, intention, and momentum for both my professional journey and this new literary adventure on Reise Reader.
My takeaway line is “Transitions should be marked, milestones commemorated, and pits filled.” A simple reminder that life’s most potent moments often come from what we choose to elevate.
The Power of Moments earns a full five passport stamps ⭐ 5️⃣ , inspiring me to embrace every opportunity and every page with intention.
