All Superheroes Need PR is the kind of story that feels like a fresh breeze, unexpected, fun, and just a little bit bold in all the right ways. Elizabeth Stephens delivers a vibrant and entertaining narrative that blends romance, fantasy, and sharp humor into something that feels both modern and refreshingly different. It’s one of those books you pick up thinking, “This should be interesting…” and before you know it, you’re fully invested.

At the center of the story is Vanessa Thérot—a sharp, accomplished PR executive tasked with what can only be described as a career-defining challenge: rebranding a known villain… who also happens to have real superpowers. Yes. That part. And somehow, it works beautifully.

What unfolds is more than just a clever premise. It becomes a layered exploration of identity, perception, and transformation; how we’re seen, how we present ourselves, and what it means to rewrite a narrative that others think they already understand. All of this is wrapped in witty dialogue, undeniable chemistry, and just enough tension to keep you turning the page.

One of the standout elements for me was the representation. The inclusion of trans, BIPOC, and queer characters didn’t feel like an afterthought—it felt intentional and enriching. It added depth to the world and made the story feel more reflective of the diversity we experience in real life.

And as a personal highlight? Vanessa is speaking German. Listen… instant connection. Sehr gut, indeed 🇩🇪✨

As the first installment in the Super in the City series, this book lays a strong foundation for what could grow into something really special. It’s fun, it’s thoughtful, and it doesn’t take itself too seriously while still delivering a meaningful story.

Trip Summary: If you enjoy romance with a twist, strong female leads, and stories that play with perception and possibility, this one is absolutely worth the read. Sometimes the story isn’t about becoming someone new but about reclaiming who you were all along… just with better branding 😉Four passport stamps ⭐ 4️⃣.
